Here We Go
I’ve launched a new website, petercrabtreephoto.com, and while I’m generally satisfied with the results, I’ve got one reservation. (Well, maybe more than one.)
With the exception of a few color slides that I’ve scanned, all the photos on display are digital, meaning the furthest back they date is 2006, the year I bought a Nikon D70. In the coming months, however, I hope to return to the darkroom after a long absence and print black and white negatives dating from the 1970s, when I began taking photographs.
To that end, I’ve been editing contact sheets, looking for images that hold promise. The one above was taken on the Staten Island Ferry; the one below, on Fordham Road in the Bronx.
